Introduction

  • Welcome Email with key contact information  and logistical details like start date, work hours, and preferred communication methods (email, instant messaging, video calls)

  • Video Introductions: Schedule introductory video calls with colleagues they'll be working with most closely

Onboarding Tasks & Training

  • Online Training ( Software tutorials - Buildertrend and other communication tools)

  • Dedicated Training Calls - Q&A sessions (Complicated software & workflow) 

  • Project Management Tools (This is for To Do’s, Assigning Tasks, clear instruction - Deadlines) 

Setting Expectations & Support

  • Communication Expectations ( 15 min training for communications )

  • Ongoing Support ( frequent video check-ins for the first few weeks, gradually reducing the frequency as they become comfortable) 

  • Technical Support ( Provide clear instructions and access points for any technical difficulties they may encounter with their home office setup) 

Setup
